Restaurant Krataiis, an ancient possession of the noble family of Ruffo, was built by the will of Princess Joanna in 1632, which is dedicated the main hall. The room "Princess Joan", imposing in its original looks majestic it's appropriate to host receptions, banquets and events made unique by the ambience, background and the renowned cuisine of the restaurant.
Other important details characterize the interior of the restaurant and makes the ambience cosy and charming, like the portal in the tuff of Syracuse, the arches and stone piers of Fiumara. Other architectural feature of considerable value are in other rooms of the structure. The room "Cave" is distinguished by the presence of a natural cave which is a spring perennial that maintains constant temperature of the nearby cellar stocked with over 250 national and international labels of wines.
Finally, the "Hall of Sirens" characterizes the entrance of the restaurant with its large stone portal.
